For he most part, I find it very responsive. there are times when the
synthesizer cuts off. I usually bounce between voices because of my hearing
loss. Some work, some don't. I don't know if this answers your question.

The answer is you don't do it in Configuration Manager anymore; you
instead go to options, voices, voice adjustment. In the profile combo box
choose RealSpeak and press enter. This is in the JAWS application.
