Hi, yes that's all correct. If you download the USB version directly
from freedom scientific's downloads page, the file they provide when
extracted will give you the structure you need as well, batch file,
autorun.inf file, etc. What you've outlined below is all correct and
using this procedure you shouldn't have any problems. If you need any
further help, please let me know!

I think so basically you are saying that all I need is the following
information for a batch file that I will save as a .bat in a notepad
document.
@echo off
start jaws90\jfw.exe
Of course changing the jaws number to reflect the one in which I want.
This is just recap from the message in which you posted . I need to
have on the root of the flash drive the following files. The Jaws
thumb drive version I am wanting to run from the thumb drive, a .bat
file containing the information which you pasted, and the autorun.inf
file which I will get from Freedom Scientific. If any of this
information is incorrect please correct me. Thank you for your help.

Jaws
Hi. Ok. Lets assume you have 3 files/folders on the root of your
pen. you have a directory called jaws90, jaws10 etc, a file called
jaws90.bat jaws 10.bat etc and an autorun.inf file. Your autorun.inf
file should look like the one you pasted to me in your last email.
All your batch file needs is the fololowing, obviously change jaws90
to jaws10 to reflect your folder name in both files.
@echo off
start jaws90\jfw.exe
Does that makes sense?

Ah now that you say autorun.inf file I think that is what I actually
pasted below rather than a batch file. I have it saved on my thumb
drive and it is saved as .inf not .bat. How does that change things?
Do I need both a .bat file as well as a .inf file in order for it to
work?

of Jaws
Hi, yep just replace 90 with 10 or 11 and it'll work. The batch
file will need to be on the root of your pen with an autorun.inf
file, download the latest jaws pen drive release to see what i
mean, that way you can see the way they've layed it out. the pen
drive will not auto start due to a limitation of windows, you would
have to press enter to launch jaws when you've given windows a good
few seconds to detect it. this is a windows limitation.

Friends,
I have a batch file I think for Jaws 9 thumb drive version. Can
someone take a look at it pasted at the bottom and see if it is
written correctly? Now second thing can I replace the 9 with 10 or
11 and it still work correctly? I have never worked with batch
files I just grabbed this one back when jaws 9 was out. Does the
batch file have to be in a certain place on the flash drive in
order for it to work correctly? When I open the flash drive will
it automatically start at that point or should it start as soon as
the flash drive is inserted? Thanks for any help offered on this
matter. Batch file for 9 below. I am saving this in a notepad
document other than that I have no clue.
