To create a heading levil 1 to 3 just pres alt+ctrl+1, 2 or 3 on the row or selected text and it will be formatted. to go to headings in word IE or mozilla press insert+f6 and it will show the select headings dialogue. Or you can press insert+z and press h or shift+h to go to next or previous heading. When you want to edit the document press insert+z again to turn quick keys off.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Headings and sub-headings in MS Word 07'

Jaws Users,
With my schooling up to this point I have never been required to work with headings however, the time has come. First, are headings and sub-headings useable within Microsoft Word using Jaws? Second, How do I accomplish placing a heading where I need it? Third, will I locate a menu for sub-headings or is it all located under headings? As of right now I have not even located the headings menu using the ribbon menus in Microsoft Word 2007 much less a sub-headings menu. Any help or asistance working with headings and Jaws would be greatly appreciated. I use Jaws 10 and Jaws 11 demo on a Dell Inspiron 1545 a Windows XP Pro operating system. I will continue to search for a headings menu within Microsoft Word and hopefully someone can provide assistance in the mean time. Thank you.
