That ffirst box is checked but because I misunderstood your original instructions (smile) I tried to uncheck with SpaceBar, enter key, and left mouse click when jaws cursor is turned on. I could never uncheck any of the three items. Inbox email is still being moved to trash. I should perhaps rephrase my statement to say that it is not exactly automatically moved to trash rather after I read it or have not read it yet and closed windows live mail and reopened it again. I initially thought the inbox emails were gone but that's when I discovered they escaped to the trash folder in windows live mail. I am wondering if they are making the new windows live mail function better or even more ridiculously cumbersome to use. Thanks.

Yes, go to tools, down to safety options. Then check the first box.

Is there anyway to prevent windows live mail from moving messages automatically from the inbox to the trash folder?
