Hi Rich, There are several reasons for what happened but primarily, when you uninstall a Freedom Scientific product, especially jaws, a wizard is activated. The speech in that wizard runs at the default settings of course. If the speech is different from your own personal settings, you'd notice the change immediately. Nothing to worry about though. The fact that it did change the speech is a good thing because it tells me you were using the correct method to uninstall the software.
There is an issue that occasionally arises when you are uninstalling older jaws versions. Some of the files need to be retained and that's why it's recommended that you use the built in procedure for doing it.
