Lenny, It was my understanding you could do this with just one sound card in Window's 7 or did I misunderstand that when reviewing specs of that operating system?

I have one dedicated to jaws and everything else to the other. That way I can adjust the volume for web page or music if I so desire. For me it made life so simpler. -----Original Message----- From: Rick Justice Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2010 4:22 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] changing the volume of Jaws independently Hi Sherri, You can't change the volume of Jaws independently, however, you can change the volume of Winamp. In Winamp, use the up and down arrow keys to control the volume. I am running JFW10 with Windows XP and Eloquence. Is it possible for me to change the volume of Jaws and leave the other items I am running, say Winamp, the same volume. If I have Winamp set to 100%, Jaws is very loud. Is there a way to lower the volume of Jaws without affecting the Winamp volume? Thanks.
