Hi Russ,
A couple of notes here!
You will not need to choose, selective startup on the general tab,
since this will change automatically when you uncheck something in the
startup tab.
It is best to uncheck one item, and then reboot, if you are not completely
sure about the item you have disabled.
By disabling one item at a time, you have a better chance of determining
what the cause is if you have unexpected results.

Yes.
Disable all will do what it says. Disable all the programs, even if you
just checked them.
For fastest start up, you will want to uncheck as many programs as
possible.
Windows will make sure that a minimum of programs are automatically
checked
for it to run.
Then make sure your antivirus is checked.
Uncheck everything else.
Then, if you find something does not work right, you can always go back in
and check that program to start up.

Hi everyone,
I understand how to get all the way to unchecking a program in the start
up
page in MSconfig.
From this point, I can tab to two buttons, enable all and disable all.
If I select the disable all, will it just disable the program I have just
unchecked?
