I have screen echo set to highlighted, which is what I have always used. In the past, JAWS would speak the file details whenever I scrolled through the list view using the up and down arrow keys while screen echo was in highlighted mode. Now I have to use the JAWS Say Line command to hear the detail information for each file. This is not really a big deal, just a minor nuisance.

Hello Gerald,

You can change the screen echo to All in order to hear the entire line read
when using up or down arrow in a list view. Use JAWS key with S. You can
also change screen echo in verbosity or the configuration manager.

Take care.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I have Details checked for all my folders and files. Its just that JAWS no longer speaks the detail information when I scroll through a list of files using the PC cursor. However, if I switch to the JAWS cursor, or use the JAWS Say Line command (Insert-Up Arrow, JAWS
speaks the detail information just fine. So obviously, the detail
information is being displayed; JAWS just isn't speaking it like it used to.

Hi Gerald;

Try the following.
2. Press Alt + V, for the view menu.
2. Arrow down until you get to, details, press enter to put you into
details
view & take you out of the menus.

Hope this helps.  Take care.
