I was never agle to get Soloma to work but have used the "Webvisum" plugin for Firefox for several years. Of course, this means you will have to use Firefox as your browser on those pages that want you to solve a captcha. I prefer firefox anyway though.

simpler the better. I recall (may be I'm wrong) qwitter or something like that that makes Twitter accessible also allows u to get the captcha character string over twitter. that to me is not an elegant solution by far as those of us who have zero interest in Twitter will be forced t to first sign up on twitter and learn it and then only be able to get captcha support. Kinda like reaching for your nose around the head and being forced to scratch other noses on the way to your own.
