Hi Oyvind; Other than uninstalling Silverlight through the control panel, what else would I have to do to turn it off in IE8, or anywhere else that I might have to hide / turn it off? I am running XP Home, Outlook Express, IE8, & Jaws10 thru 12 latest. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care. Mike

I got tired of seeing this update so I got rid of it by hiding it. Silverlight is Microsofts answer to Flash so to speak. It's currently not very accessible. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Russ Hubley Sent: 27. februar 2011 17:34 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Is Silverlight necessary Hi everyone, I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I just downloaded and installed Service Pack. I also found that Silverlight is also available. What is this update? Is it necessary?
