Hi Oyvind;

Other than uninstalling Silverlight through the control panel, what else
would I have to do to turn it off in IE8, or anywhere else that I might have
to hide / turn it off? I am running XP Home, Outlook Express, IE8, & Jaws10
thru 12 latest. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take
care.
Mike

  No, stay away!
  I got tired of seeing this update so I got rid of it by hiding it.
  Silverlight is Microsofts answer to Flash so to speak.
  It's currently not very accessible.

  Subject: [JAWS-Users] Is Silverlight necessary

  Hi everyone,

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

  I just downloaded and installed Service Pack. I also found that
Silverlight is also available. What is this update? Is it necessary?

  Thanks,

  Russ
