Hello, I am using Word 2010 but I think getting a list of synonyms is the same in Word 2007. Select the word that you want a synonym for and use your application key. Use up arrow a few times and you should find a menu choice for synonyms. Use right arrow key into the list and down arrow key to hear the various synonyms. In Word 2010, after selecting the word and using the application key, the letter Y puts focus right in the list of synonyms. You can also launch the thesaurus from that menu. When you are in a document, use F6 to switch between the panes.
