Two ways, whichever you choose:
Method #1:
Open the configuration manager insert-f2.
Go to Settings.
Open miscellaneous.
Virtual Ribbons is the third option. Check it.
Method 2:
Press insert-6 to bring up the settings search box.
Press control-shift-D for the default application.
Type virtual ribbon in the search box.
Press down-arrow.
Check the box for virtual ribbons.

I wonder if someone can recommend a utility to convert the ribbon design

Office 2010 to older style menu options? It is rather frustrating with
Jaws
to take the scenic route with the ribbon design.
