If Jaws says, progress bar silent, press the spacebar until Jaws reads progress bar spoken & press enter to save changes & close. Again with IE open; 1. Press Insert / Jaws key + 6, on the number row above the main keyboard to open the configuration manager. 2. Press Alt + S, to open Set Options & press the letter U, to open user options. 3. You should be on, announce progress bar updates. The default setting is 5 second intervals. 4. Tab to okay, press enter, press control + S, to save your changes, & Alt + F4 to close.
