Have you installed the sun java bridge? This allows screenreaders to interact with java. Also if your sun didn't use the swing classes it won't work well either. Java is not particularly screenreader friendly. My son has created a JAVA program for my use, but I cannot read buttons and edit boxes with JAWS. Can JAWS be used with JAVA? Are there scripts available for this?
