Hello,

How are you managing with 60 folders and getting to the ones at the end of
the list? I am coming to Windows Live Mail 2011 from Outlook Express and I
thought WLM 2011 didn't have first letter navigation in the folders list or
for manually moving messages to different folders. Am I missing something
here? I had 40 folders in OE and am trying to pare the number down for my
OE messages to go into WLM 2011. For example, I have an OE folder for posts
on Windows 7 saved along with a couple of other folders wh
ose names begin with "W" and moving messages to a "W" folder with first
letter navigation is pretty painless. I'm dreading the thought of all those
down arrow presses to get to a "W" folder in WLM2011 and have been trying to
think how I can consolidate my existing 34 folders into something like a
half dozen in addition to the default ones Microsoft gives such as In-box.
I've been happily working with all my OE folders for years and I'm not
relishing the thought of having to remember a new slimmed down fol
der list!

Thank you,

Margaret

Hi.

I have used Windows Live Mail 2011 for long time, and with Jaws 12 and 13
beta, it work's fine.
I have created rules for several thing's, and i have post, sorted into at
least 60 folders.

I have also 4 e-mail adress's with rules for sorting post from the different

inbox's to specified subfolders, and all works fine.

Jaws support's all the structure in the program's interface, but it takes
time to learn and be patient with the new interface, because it is using the

band structure, just as the newest version's of Microsoft Office.

But finding out how to create the subfolder's and how to create the rules,
will take time, because there is nothing to compare with the previous
interface.

Hans Pauli.

Jim, thank you. And are you talking about the Windows Live Mail 2011?
Certainly this version is easier to find for download. Has Freedom
scientific written any scripts for it? Can you create messege rule to help
deal with large volumns of special interest mail like this Jaws users list?

thank you for any additional thoughts. I know Outlook 2010 will also work
but that will cost me an additional $80 or so to purchase.
