Hi Steward.
Press insert+j to get your Jaws window into focus.
Press the alt key, and arrow down once to Basic's, and press enter.
Tab to the checkboks where jaws say's "Run Jaws from System tray" and check
this, and tab to ok and press enter.
You must restart Jaws, before this setting work's.
If the insert+j say's Jaws sub menu, You allready have this setting made.
But does'nt it say "submenu", than continue as described above.

and how do i go aboute changing it so i don't lose focus, i am finding
windows 7 very difficult

Hi Steward.
Do you have set up your Jaws, so it is running from the system tray, and
not is available as a separate window?
This should give the ability to switch between the desktop and other
active window's, using alt+tab.

hi all wonder if you can help me.
i am running jaws 11 and windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.
first of all wen i am on the desktop, and press alt tab, it keeps saying
lost focus,
and says press alt tab but wen i do this nothing happens.
also wen i start my laptop, it does not go to the desktop,
can this be fixed?
