The best way to use the system tray insert-f11 is to select the left-click,
right-click, or left-double-click button. Occasionally, though, I've
noticed that a button gets mislabeled and will jump back to the desktop.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] when clicking on system tray items it shows
desktopicons
Not sure how else to say subject line, but what happens is, let's say I
want to go to system tray and find Jaws or MSIE or any item in the tray.
I hit enter, and instead of going to the options that pertain to the
item--options like maybe open, exit, etc.--it shows the icons on desktop.
Volume, for instance, is a good example. Instead of saying "open volume
control" when entering on the volume icon in the tray, it says "my
documents, my computer", etc. Then if I hit escape and go to the tray
again and open volume, at that time it is in the menu pertaining to the
volume's options. I don't know if this is a Jaws problem or not, but I do
know that hitting insert F11 shouldn't show desktop icons when entering on
a tray item, and why it would show the correct menus the second time
instead of the first is kind of a mystery. Using Jaws 12 and XP Home.
