Hello Mark; I will say to you, since I've installed jaws13 I havenotice the jaws behavior as more sluggish then jaws12. Although I'm not experiencing your problems, Jaws doesn't always read open messages automatically, Goes silent when I move through messages with the arrow keys, So, I did go back to 12 when using outlook

I did find one interesting thing though. I exited JAWS 13 and loaded JAWS 12 and the E-mail list read perfectly as before. Then I reloaded JAWS 13 and all the issues with the Message list came back.
