With Jaws 12, if you have Internet Explorer opened, just do insert-6.

You will get the searchbox that you are getting familiar with on your Win 7
machine where you hit the windows key and start typing and it auto-completes
the entry for you.

In this case with Jaws, after you press insert-6, just type page, for
example, or refresh.  When you hit down arrow, you will hear Jaws announce
your search result.  Just press enter and then spacebar will alternate
through your choices.  You want the page refresh filter turned off or
suppressed.
