Well, I'm not using outlook2007 at the moment, So this will be from memory; Try the following; Turn Off & On (enable/disable) Auto-Numbering in Outlook 2007 1. On the Tools menu, enter on Options. Alt+t=tools, O=options. 2. In the Options dialog box, on the Mail Format tab, click Editor Options. So, after going into options, you land on the prefferences tab,shift+tab once I believe now right arrow to the mail tab. 3. Enter on proofing, and then enter on AutoCorrect Options. 4. You can give the following a try; In Word 2007, click the Office button, Word Options, and Proofing; click the AutoCorrect Options button; select the AutoFormat As You Type button; remove the checkmarks from the Automatic Bulleted Lists and Automatic Numbered Lists, click OK, and click OK again. I want to permanently remove this behavior in any MS Word doc I open on my Win7 PC. I David the moderator posted one of his daily tips a while back to undo this default behavior but as is often the case that process broke down because at some point in the steps you couldn't do it with JAWS. How do I remove this auto numbering behavior permanently?
