Hi Joni, While in email, when I invoke the Insert + 1 / End keystroke, Jaws reports, " Inbox Windows Mail ." While in Notepad, Jaws reports " Untitled Notepad ." On the Internet, Jaws reports " Google, Windows Internet Explorer ." Nothing is being reported as far as the active window status. I've played with screen resolution & I con sizes but, nothing has helped. I am not sure what settings to change or where to look to get Jaws to read the rest of the window. In short, I don't know if this is a Jaws issue or a Windows7 issue or, both! Thank you for your reply. Take care. Mike

Well, this keystroke does not work on my Windows7 operating system. When this keystroke is invoked using XP Pro, Jaws reports; minimize symbol, restore symbol, close symbol. If Jaws doesn't report , such as in this case, the maximize symbol, this means that the window is maximized.
