VueScan is another alternative.
I have not tried it my self yet but I've heard it's quite good and
accessible.
There are 3 versions/licenses: Basic, Standard and Professional.
Basic is free, Standard around $39 and Pro around $79.

Text cloaner pro is around $100.  Sometimes it's more accurate than OpenBook
and sometimes not.  It uses the screen reader to voice the scan instead of
having it's own voice.
