Hello Tara,

You can try using the color scheme. Use Alt+JAWS key+S when on the web page
and choose the color scheme. You should hear the foreground color and then
the background color announced when they change. You will first hear the
colors and then the text affected by the color change. It seems to work
quite well when using up or down arrow key or when using the SayAll option.
If you use the JAWS key with the number 5 on the keyboard number row you
will hear the foreground and background colors for the current character.
Hold down JAWS key and press number 5 on the number row twice quickly and
you will hear the three digit representation for the red, green and blue
colors in the foreground and background. The first three colors are for red
foreground, the second three digits are for the shade of green, and the
third set of three numbers is for the quality of the blue color. The last
three sets of numbers are for the red, green and blue background colors. In
the RGB values numbers for each of the colors ranges between 0 and 255.
Lower numbers indicate darker shades and higher numbers indicate lighter
shades of color. For example, if you hear 000 000 000 on 255 255 255 you
have you have the darkest black foreground on the brightest white
background.

Take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] identifying colors on webpage

Is there a way to identify font colors on a webpage? For example, if there
is a table and the table items" values are shown by colors, can JAWS
identify these colors? I'm not finding a way to do this. I'm using JAWS 13.

Thank you.

Tara
