There is a way to have Tb read the name of the sender first. But it is
necessary to use the drag and drop function.

The only thing I don't like about thunderbird is the way it reads the inbox
list. For example, I haven't found a way to say weather a message is unread
or not furst. I think it reads the subject line first. Anyone know if
there's a way to manage that?

make a lot of noise.

I'm glad my son steered me toward this program. It's worked for me mostly,
and I'm no rocket scientist to say the least.
