Mine is on Jaws 6, at the moment it is buried, but thing is, it was
difficult to read on that disk when it was new, now it is impossible, so
glad it always comes up for me, heaven forbid I will need a new computer,
last one I got in 2010 my husband had to read the code from the printed
label for me.

There should be a better way than a label that was thin and not readable in
the first place and sent 8 versions ago to solve this issue.

I was going to write it on something else but, could not make it all out to
do so.

Hi Miriam

it should be on your CD cover. mine is on one of the older versions, not
sure why they don't put it on each update though.

I was lucky because the activation key was there. But if it hadn't been,
where would I find it?

It has happened to me as well. I just keep the activation key around, and
copy and paste it into the activation box when it happens.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Why, sudden re-authorization requirement?

I'm really confused. This is the second time this has happened to me since I
got my new computer last December. I keep up to date on paying for jaws and
Magic upgrades although I don't always choose to update the programs.
Example: I've received CD's for upgrading Jaws and magic in the past few
days but have decided not to do so at present. This morning, both Jaws and
Magic informed me that I was using temporary versions of the programs and
had to re-authorize them or they would run out within a short time. Luckily,
each provided the authorization number and I could easily re-authorize them
without difficulty. If I'd had a problem, I'd have had to wait until
tomorrow when FS is open. I'm wondering if this happens to other people and
if anyone can explain why it happens. It's really inconvenient, particularly
for someone like me whose technical capabilities are so limited. Is it some
kind of FS policy or just a gliche?

Miriam
