Ah if that's the case, I'll keep you posted on what happens since when I get a new desk top I want one that has a high end card. I'll let you know.

In my experience, in the last four years, whether I had motherboard with onboard Nvidia, ATI, etc. doesn't appear to matter. Now, I haven't done anything with a separage graphics card, but I'm sure the normal lower-end ones will work well. I suspect some of the high-end gamer ones will, but if there was going to be a problem, I'd suspect that you might see it in one of those high-end cards.
