I heard the download indication thing is because with ie 9 or 10 there are
no status bars which would explain something right?

I am using iE9 myself.
I'd like to get rid of the way the download dialog box is. i'm used to the
xp way. i'm using windows 7 home. how do i change it or downgrade to 8?
