Hi all,
The only computer that uses a password for e mails is the computer at a
different location, at my office. Where as,my 2 home computers don't need a
password to open e mils.
No security changes have occurredat work.
Can I set up a new identity or something since I've not figured out how to
change this particular password?
The password for Outlook Express web site has always been different than the
one I use at the work computer.I only need it if I am out of town and use
the web to check e mails.
Could it be a problem with some setting on the computer versus with Outlook
Express?
Where would I look?
I don't use a password to log on to the computer, only to open e mails.
I also don't understand Dave's point of changing the password on the server?
Please explain.
Thanks a bunch.
Rich

If the first letter was capitalized and the rest lowercase, then try with
the password all in lowercase. it's possible however that you may need to
contact your email provider (or get onto their Web site) and fill in a new
password in the requisite section there.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] O E changing a password
Hi all,
I have XP and 14.
My office computer has Outlook Express and picks up my home e mails.
Recently, I got a message that the password I enter is wrong and I now
can not receive new messages.
I am, however, able to send messages.
I have 2 computers at home and they both work well.
I looked, in my work computer, accounts/properties to un check password
but nothing works.
How can I change the password or change identities in order to receive my
home e mails on this computer.
Any explicit suggestions would be appreciated.
p.s. this is strange because the password I've been using for the past
couple of years had been working until last week, and I recall making no
changes.
Thanks!
Rich
