Lately I will get an email from someone with attachments which are word documents. When I open them Jaws doesn't read it, but it says it is protected mode because of the attachments. Then it says enable editing button but it does nothing when you press it. If I get a sighted person to click on that enable editing button I can then save it as a document and read it, but only doing it that way. Someone suggested here to someone else to press Insert and Z when they mentioned protected mode; I tried that and nothing happened. There has to be someway of getting Jaws to read this thing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
