graphics 100% of the time so don't feel bad.

I ask this question, knowing, that I am not the most proficient  user of
jaws, and there may be things I am just not doing correctly, but here is
what I want to know.
Will jaws, or any other screen reader for that matter, ever be able to read
graphics? So many web sites have graphics now, and, I don't know how to make
jaws read them. I keep upgrading jaws, and for me, the graphics problem
still exists.
So, is it me, and that could very well be, or is Jaws, at this point, unable
to read graphics? If it can, and I don't know how to do it, please set me
straight, without ripping me all to heck. Smile. Jim
