As you turn on the computer, start hitting the function key f8 and go down
to safe mode and enter.

I recall list members discussing turning on a computer in safe mode. Will
that help me at this time and how do I proceed from there? My grandson
will be here for a few hours, so if I will need sighted assistance, I'll
have it. Please, please I'm sure that some one on this list will have some
