I have used both. At this time, if I were you, I would just upgrade to 2010. 2013 has some bugs that they haven't worked out yet. Not being able to edit signatures, the email list doesn't remember people you have emailed in the past, so you have to write out the email address every time, or go find it in your address book, and while going through your folders, jaws doesn't give you the unread message count. There are some other things, but those are the ones I have noticed so far. Also, your documents are saved in your sky drive now, unless you pick a different default location. If I hadn't got my for free, I would have stuck with 2010.
