Hi Bill & Lenny,

While in Word, if you go to Tools, Options, Advanced tab there is a
checkbox that you can uncheck, prompt before saving normal template. If
you uncheck this checkbox, any changes to the normal template will be
saved automatically without bringing up that dialogue. While on the
Advance Tab, Alt + O, is the keystroke that will get you there more
quickly. Note: you may have to invoke the Alt + O keystroke more than
once to get you there.
Then, tab to okay, press the spacebar to save your changes & close
options.
HTH
Take care.
Mike

Is there anyway to reinstall it without losing one of my 3 installs?
If I modify a document and save it about 50 percent of the time I can not
really save or exit. I get changes have been made to the global template.
It then starts a vicious cycle and I usually just restart the computer,
bring up the file and make the changes a second time. This is on a win 7
machine
