Looks like they have fixed the problem with an update to the update, if
what I've read is correct. My win 7 box doesn't show any new ones for a
change.

Best to get them all. There have been some problems with the latest
batch, so I don't think I'd be in any hurry to get any of them just yet.
I'd wait a week and then try it. The problems have been mostly of a
failure to install.
