Thanks Pete. I tried that, but when I plug in my external sound card, jaws stops talking and I can't tell anything. That means I can't tell where I am, etc. Jim Is there any way to fix this? Jim

Hi Jim, I do this by using a little external USB soundcard through which I run Jaws so that it doesn't interfere with the recording.
