Hi With 2000 links, I can see JAWS being very sluggish and go for several minutes before starting to speak. But JAWS will eventually start to speak. When you open the page, JAWS has to look at every link in order to create the links list and build all the elements you can use to navigate web pages. So you might as well do something else while you're waiting. I don't know if Freedom Scientific would have any suggestions on how to speed it up.
