When I had my del inspiron laptop, the combo of the fn key with a function
key turned off and on the numlock. I lol, just tried doing keyboard help
and did fn with each function key and I would not recommend that if you
don't know what each combo does.
I just now accidentallylocked myself out of my comp and it required a
password to get back in which I forgot what it was, so I had to use
something that is irrevelent to the topic to get back in my ssystem.
In short, consult the manual for your system, it should have information on
how to turn off and on the numlock key. Don't use keyboard help to be on the
safe side.
