I have tried changing my hot key, and even tried typing JAWS14 in the run dialogue box but nothing seems to help. The only way I can get JAWS to start speaking again is to reboot my computer. Last night I found something that might allow some of you to let me know what's going on. I had to turn JAWS off and again when I tried to restart it, nothing happened. I activated NVDA so I could have some speech and focused on the JAWS14 icon on my desktop. When I would try to open it, I heard NVDA say "JFW is hidden". Can anyone tell me what I can do in order to solve this issue?
