Scott, Thanks, looked for this but could not find. Checked and I only have standard edition, which meets my needs for recording Skype calls. Have you got the pro version and did this fix work?

IN Professional Edition hit the Listen while capturing button (Volume and Level Panel). This button turns on/off the listen-while-capturing mode. When the mode is on, all sound captured from the sound board is sent to your speakers. Not sure about hearing what you are recording as well but if you poke around a bit in some of the settings there may be a check box or something that says allow monitoring or something like that. This may allow that. The other alternative I could think of, but now you are getting into more cost, is running things through a mixer which allows various input and output device running simultaneously. I'll look a bit and see if I can find a way next time I'm in Total Recorder Also, I believe you can upgrade to 8.5 at no charge, not that this will make a difference in your current concern. What setting do I need to change . It is on software.
