I don't mind alt tabbing, but desktop is not there to tab to, it is on the
laptop, not on the desktop.

Hi Trish,

I always have to alt + tab back to the desktop after closing programs even
though my desktop theme is set on Windows Classic.

To check & see if you're using the classic desktop theme do the following:

1. While on the desktop press the F5 key to make sure that nothing is
selected.
2. Press the applications key, arrow down to Personalize & press enter.
Listen to Jaws & it will report which theme is running. If it's not Windows
Classic then continue with the rest of the steps.
3. You will now be in the Themes Gallery. here the different themes are in
columns. To find the Windows Classic Theme, arrow down to Windows7 Basic,
& right arrow 1 time to Windows Classic & press enter. Wait a little while
for the system to make the changes. You might hear a sound when it's done.

Also, changing themes will probably change your Sound Schemes as well. So,
you might have to alter your sound schemes to get the sounds you want.

Take care.
Mike

I need to know why on my desktop, when I alt tab around, I do not get
desktop?

This is even after I've already opened something and closed it, it does not
go back to desktop. This does not occur on the laptop, so wondering why it
is this way on a desktop?

Both are running windows 7, if there's something I can do, please advise.

Thanks,

Trish
