Hello Jim, First of all there is a Synonyms menu item in the contextual menu. Press the application key and arrow down to the "synonyms" item. Press right arrow key to enter the submenu or list of synonyms. Press enter key to insert your choice. The thesaurus is also listed in the submenu. However, using shift with F7 will bring up the thesaurus in a separate pane. Use F6 until you are in the Research pane after using shift key with F7. Tab until you find the list of items and then use down arrow key through the list. Press the application key and then enter key on the option to insert the replacement word.
Take care. How do you use the thesaurus to see a list of replacement words, and how do you then choose that word to replace the word you selected in your document? In Word 2007, you highlighted the word to look at, then you went to the thesaurus in the menu’s and selected the word you wanted with the enter key, and it automatically replaced the word in your document. Any help would be appreciated... Jim: Spring is here, spring is here. All God's feathered creatures, cry out like preachers. Singing about God's creation, awaiting His future restoration. Giving glory to Him, perched upon their limbs. listen to the birds, as their voices merge. Singing about God's love, pouring down from above. Preparing to fly away, searching out their prey. Awesome is the sight, their wings in flight. Gliding towards the ground, their food soon found. Providing for their chicks, food diverse and mixed. What a wonderful design, from God's eternal mind.
