Honestly I don't know if the person who started this mentioned what version
of windows either. Never the less the command I posted is in an icon on my
desktop. So all I need to do is hit enter on it and the clipboard is cleared
out instantly.

Hi David & Rick,

I'm terribly sorry for posting that erroneous clipboard clearing for
Windows7. I knew it worked with XP & thought it worked with Win7 as well.
See what happens when I have a thought, especially before consulting my
iBarstool! LOL LOL

Personally, I open a text file, press the spacebar 1 time, & select the
space. This clears the clipboard & leaves just that spacemark on it. Much
quicker that way & works in XP & Win7. See how much better I think after
consulting with my iBarstool! LOL, hahaha hahaha hahaha, LOL Take care.
Mike

OK now I understand. Since the only XP system I have is dedicated to playing
music and nothing else at all I did not know that or think to boot it up to
check.

Interesting, my system can't locate

clipbrd

either. I seem to remember this from years ago.

No matter the shortcut for clearing the clip board is on the tips and tricks
page now for well over a year.
