Have you tried downloading and installing AVG using Ninite Installer? This
might make the installation procedure easier.

how assessible is the installation of avg, awhile ago from using previous
versions when I tried installing, it wouldn't get past the first part of

I use a v g on all my computers and it seems pretty good for me and it is
free they do have the paid version but the free one works just as good.
