Hi John,
After opening Internet Explorer and then Tools, followed by Internet Options Jaws should speak quite a bit, and there should be an address , this is your
home page address, and it is an edit field.
Setting your home page, is not necessarily the same as setting your search
provider.
Just for clarification, your search provider, uses a search engine,, they
are not one in the same.
If you set Google as your default home page, then when you open Internet
Explorer
that is the page you will be on ready to perform a Google search.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Tomorrow's another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

To change your home page/search provider...

Before making the changes suggested in email message below, try this:

1. first try launching Internet Explorer.
2. Open Tools > Internet Options >
3. You will land on an edit field within the General tab. Delete all paths
in this edit field.
4. Type the following in the edit field: www.Google.com
5. Press Shift+Tab to Ok and press enter.
6. Completely close Internet Explorer then launch it again and confirm
that
www.Google.com is now your search engine.

Internet Explorer
Step 1

Alt+t=tools, icon to open the Tools menu.

Step 2

Up arrow and Select "Manage Add-ons" from the Tools menu to display your
add-ons by type.
press enter,
Step 3

Use arrow key and Select "Search Providers" under the add-on type. If Bing
is the only search provider listed, you'll have to add another one before
you remove Bing. To
do this, click "Find more search providers." Click your desired search
provider and click "Add to Internet Explorer." Select "Make this my
default
search
provider." Restart Internet Explorer and return to the Manage Add-ons
menu.
if there's more than one
Step 4

Select "Bing" use tab key and enter on remove.
and click "Remove."
