I wonder if you opened the control panel, press "f" for flash player and enter on it, then do control-tab to the advance tab, then tab to the checkbox to allow adobe to install updates, check it, and save. Maybe that will work? I just looked on my system here it' is checked on mine to allow for updates to install. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <tclar...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 3:52 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting
like so many others, I have no idea on how to temporarily disable my anti virus, and I simply delete the update, because I have version 13 on my laptop now -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 3:25 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting maybe you should turn off your virus temporarily to get this adobe. Have you at any time recieved a adobe update? It usually happens for me when I turn on my laptop for the day, if you do, then press alt i, but you might still need to uncheck the google/crome and you might have to turn off your anti-virus just to allow this to install, have you tried that first without trying to downloading it? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <tclar...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 3:11 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting thanks for your help -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 2:59 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting your asking me, seriously? haha ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <tclar...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 2:29 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting yes, I did. so what should I do? -----Original Message----- From: Trish Sent: Saturday, June 21, 2014 2:26 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] make flash player a default setting did you read that bit that said, your anti-virus must allow for this dl/install? so maybe that's why it stops reckon?
