So you guys are also having trouble with the Weather's ResearchIt module? IN case maybe my previous EMail didn't send out, I'll summarize:
When typing in Tampico, Mexico which is where I live) it comes out as
El tiempo ha buscado Tampico, Mexico y no encontró resultados.
Try typing in Tampico Mexico and I get this
El tiempo ha buscado Tampico Mexico y no encontró resultados.
However Type in Tampico by itself and I get this
Hoy 16 jul
Max 31 grados.
Min 26 grados.
Precipitaciones 1,7 mm
Mañana 17 jul
Max 32 grados.
Min 26 grados.
Precipitaciones 0,9 mm
Viernes 18 jul
Max 33 grados.
Min 28 grados.
Precipitaciones 0 mm
Sábado 19 jul
Max 32 grados.
Min 28 grados.
Precipitaciones 0,2 mm
So if in Jaws15 localized Spanish, the Weather module doesn't allow city comma state or City comma country as before with previous Jaws versions, what's the deal for cities that are in different parts of the world?
Puebla Mexico is a perfect example:
Type in Puebla, Mexico and I get this
El tiempo ha buscado Puebla, Mexico y no encontró resultados.
Type in Puebla Mexico and get this
El tiempo ha buscado Puebla Mexico y no encontró resultados.
Type in Puebla by itself and you get this
Hoy 16 jul
Max 39 grados.
Min 21 grados.
Precipitaciones 0 mm
Mañana 17 jul
Max 39 grados.
Min 24 grados.
Precipitaciones 0 mm
Viernes 18 jul
Max 39 grados.
Min 25 grados.
Precipitaciones 0 mm
Sábado 19 jul
Max 39 grados.
Min 25 grados.
Precipitaciones 0 mm
39C in Puebla Mexico? no way! so what's the deal here? Which Puebla is the Weather module referring to here? Where else is Puebla around the world? thus in places like Mérida Mexico and Mérida also in Venezuela, what's the deal here then? Thanks for enlightenment; it has always puzzled me since upgrading to Jaws15! Do you with english Jaws encounter this problem?

I would be totally against removing ResearchIt completely, may be give the option of installing it or not, but not removing it. There are several items that work great and I use them on a daily basis. Just because I don't use the calculator in Windows, I wouldn't expect Microsoft to remove it. So the same goes for ResearchIt, just because some don't use it doesn't mean it should be removed. Hopefully FS will get the Weather and other items working properly with the next upgrade.

See previous EMail on ResearchIt and weather, and it's just a waste of
resources lately!

research-it should be removed from jaws and the software would be more stable without unnecesary programming.

I find research it very unsatisfying . FS does not , in my opinion, do a
very good job of maintaining it and keeping it up to date.
