Folks, with great delight I was able to take a PDF document that came up as document empty and for the first time using JAWS plus space bar, tap the letter O for OCR and then tap the letter D for document and there it was!! The document converted to text and with great delight I could read it without having to do a separate process of scanning or getting sighted assistance.
