Hi All,

Here is an explanation of the registry files that I spoke of & why they
might be a benefit for those that would like to use them. This is from a
blind Jaws User that helped create the files with Vipre. Señor Ferrin, I
believe, is going to post them on the website.

Greetings folks,

After a six hour extensive meeting with their development team, we have
ironed out the problems with 2015, but since the interface has already been
written, they need to go back in, and fix the accessibility issues.

I will post when it is all good again.

I have tested several modules, and we are continuing to refine it.

For now, hold off on 2015, and if people who have 2014 wish to keep the 2014
version and not get the upgrade prompt, I have a binary registry file that I
can send if people want to get me off list, and I will send u the reg fix
for both the say no to the upgrade prompt fix, and then the say yes to the
upgrade prompt fix, once we have all the viper 2015 accessibility modules in
place.

So, we have a reg fix prompt to keep 2014 from forcing the update and a reg
fix for reinstating the prompt to go ahead and upgrade…

The 2015 program is written in dot net framework, and although there are a
huge number of m s d n articles and best practice data modules, some of the
viper interface is a set of custom controls, which need to be recoded for
accessibility best practices with screen readers.

It is being worked on, and I will post more once we really have something
worth making a second post about.
