You're coming across just fine. Obviously you are a fairly new member and as since all new members with very few exceptions like if a person is known to us are placed on moderated status by the server automatically to protect list members from being slammed with Spam or other inappropriate messages.
Then when we feel comfortable with such a person their status gets changed to regular which means they are free to post without messages receiving prior approval from any of the 3 of us who monitor this monster of a list. If memory serves this is explained in the guidelines, if it isn't I will have to include that information in the welcome message all new subscribers receive.
