No, unfortunately not. It just means that you and I are
covered for Jaws 16 without an additional charge since we
purchased an SMA at some point. We'll have to pay for
another SMA in order to qualify for Jaws 17 and 18 when they
are developed.

I just asked the Sales Department at Freedom the same
question this afternoon.
They are only now beginning to ship the disks to those who
still have an active SMA.
You can download the new Jaws of course and your particular
ID number will assure that you aren't charged for it.
That's how it should work, anyway.
